Thank you for stopping in to check out our site! We’re sure you’ve read through the services that we offer, so here’s a little about us. I hope it will help you understand why we are so passionate about helping other small business owners.
I was a 9 – 5’er until July 2018 when our daughter Hannah made a very unexpected early appearance. I was fortunate enough to work very limited hours for 10 weeks to care for our very tiny summer surprise. I spent the next year trying to rediscover myself as a wife, mom and professional. Through networking for my 9-5, I had built quite the community of colleagues, which included a large number of small business owners.
I was becoming more and more restless in my 9-5 because I felt that I was no longer able to help our customers directly. The opportunity to help people in difficult and stressful situations is what pulled me towards the position to begin with. I expressed my frustrations to a mentor and that’s where it all began …
The entrepreneurship disease set in pretty quickly after our initial conversation. He reassured me that I have a solid community that would love to support me in any business opportunity that I decided to pursue. I did a little soul searching and listened to A LOT of podcasts. It didn’t take long for me to realize that my love for helping others could easily work with my love of organization and math. Of all the small business owners that I had met there was one thing that they all had in common: They need to earn an income to support their lifestyle.
Many of the small business owners I knew were visionaries and dreamers. Generally speaking, they aren’t very organized or good with the “normal” month-to-month tasks. What better way to help someone than by supporting them so that they can pursue their dreams? What if I could also help them have a more clear view of their finances so that they can assess how they may be able to become more profitable in their business?
That’s how I came to virtual bookkeeping and administrative support. As a business owner working IN your business can be overwhelming enough. Once you add working ON your business, it can feel virtually impossible. That’s where I come in. I can help with one time projects to help get your office, calendar or inbox organized up to ongoing month to month calendar and inbox management. I thrive in the bookkeeping arena. Numbers are my thing. I’m passionate about helping business owners organize and understand their books.
